Stephen Morrison

I have recieved training on several kinds of equipment whilst studying at university and working within the industry.

Cameras

I have been trained on several cameras and am proficient in the use of a number of them including:

- Canon 5D Mark ii

- Canon 450D

- Canon 550D

- Go Pro Hero HD

- Sony PD150

- Sony PD170

- Sony HVR V1E HD

I have used these in numerous projects and have a lot of experience with them. I am capable of using these cameras at a high standard and professional level.

I also have a basic knowledge of using the JVC GY-HD200 and am training myself to use it at a more professional standard.

Sound

I have used several kinds of microphones and sound recording equipment. Having worked directly with various sound mixers and boom operators over numerous projects I have a good deal of knowledge of using and working with professional equipment.

I am well versed in the use of each of these microphones and audio recording devices and can use them at a respectable level of professionalism.

Lighting

During each of the projects I have been involved with I have always participated in the lighting of each of them. I understand and can implement many different techniques in several genres and mediums. The lights I have used include:

- Arri

- Sachtler

- Dedo

- Lowel

- Sony Pag Lighting Kit

I have extensive experience with each of these lighting kits and am fully capable of implementing them on sets and on location. I can use all accessories involving these lights including diffusers, reflectors and gels.

Television Studio

I have some basic knowledge of working in a television studio environment and have worked on the studio floor and in the gallery. I am not highly experienced in studio work but feel that my experience of working on sets and locations will help me to quickly adapt to any new circumstances and work.

Editing Software

I have been trained on several editing programs. I have experience with both audio and visual editing software including:

- Final Cut Pro

- Premiere Pro

- Photoshop

- Sound Booth

- Audition

- Encore

- Studio Pro

I have used Premiere Pro on many films, but have been receiving training recently on the use of Final Cut Pro and am drastically improving my skills with the program. I am experienced in the use of Photoshop and have used it to design posters and promotional material. I have some experience with audio editing and am training myself to use both Sound Booth and Audition to a higher standard. I am not well versed in the use of SFX/3D editing programs but feel that given my previous experience with post production I could learn quickly and be a valuable member of any team.
